Ahhh it's 1:30 a.m. and I'm leaving in 7 hours for NYC!

Why am I awake??!

Call me procrastination pamela because I definitely left some of my packing til the last minute. Oops!

So tomorrow at 8:30, the whole family will be heading to the big apple. Yes, the whole family. I always fly out to Marquette when I move in for the year, so it's always been easier to just have one parent come with and that's it. But with NYC in driving distance, moving in is now a whole family ordeal. This has never happened before! Should be... interesting.....

I can't believe it's already time for summer in the city! May flew by. (thank God) I was going a liittttllee crazy without a social life or any form of adventure for that matter. After 4 months in Europe, I have high standards for my daily life. You can't blame me!

I think I overpacked, to be honest. I figure, bring whatever I want, if it doesn't fit, throw it back in the car for my family's drive home. Better safe than sorry I guess. I also have all my journalist things, of course. Notepad, recorder, AP Stylebook, copies of Sports Illustrated, etc. I think I'm ready!

Mentally. not so much. I'm excited of course, but I still can't wrap my mind around what's about to happen these next few months! so much to look forward to I can hardly take it.

Well, that's it for tonight I guess. I'll update once I've moved in (and have internet... doesn't sound like it's included in the apartment... yikes). Wish me luck!!
